    To secure the most suitable dates for your stay, we encourage booking once your pregnancy is confirmed, so you don’t miss out on our limited placements. Gaining insight into your specific circumstances, we will assist in scheduling your stay at the most optimal time for you.

    Availability for each month's retreat is limited, and early reservations are recommended to schedule your spot. Should your plans require adjustment due to changes in your due date, we accommodate reservation date changes to suit your needs, ensuring a seamless and worry-free experience.

  • You can stay with us anytime from the birth of your baby. We cater to the unique needs of this critical postpartum period. If you are on bed rest, you can also stay before your birth.

  • Borne is here to help. If you're not coping well at home, whether due to lack of sleep, difficulties in establishing a routine, or dealing with challenges like reflux or colic, our expert team can provide the assistance you need, even if you didn’t contact us during your pregnancy. We will do our best to get you in ASAP.

  • Absolutely! We provide specialised care and support for mothers with multiples, understanding the additional challenges and joys this situation brings.

  • Definitely! We provide a serene and supportive environment for women on bed rest before giving birth, ensuring comfort and expert care.

  • Yes, we offer customised babymoon weekends for couples, which include birth classes and relaxation activities to prepare for the arrival of your baby.

  • Our experienced staff can help you establish flexible patterns for your newborn, addressing issues and routines like sleep, feeding, and overall wellness.

  • Yes! We welcome fathers and partners and look forward to treating them too! We believe in supporting the whole family and offer activities and services that cater to the needs of both parents. While many mothers prefer a quiet stay with just their partner and newborn, we recognise that arranging care for your other children may not always be feasible. That's why we warmly welcome your entire family, including older siblings. To accommodate your needs, we can discuss spacious rooms with 2 x beds or an additional porta-cot tailored to your family's size.

  • While we provide basic postpartum care and support, we recommend that any serious medical issues be addressed with your healthcare provider. We can work in conjunction with your medical team to ensure a comprehensive care approach.

  • Yes, should you wish to have visitors or have your other children visit you are most welcome. Some Borne Stay Packages even offer a Booking Management Service for you.

  • At Borne, our priority is to maintain a high standard of service while providing reasonable flexibility and fairness to our guests in a time of huge change. To operate 24/7 staffing and a Nursery, we need a minimum of 4 Bookings due to the high price of care. This is why we have the below cancellation policies- so no one risks loosing their stay because one guest has cancelled.

    Health Concerns or Loss of Life: If a guest experiences health issues or a tragic loss (such as miscarriage or loss of life), we will provide a full refund for the booked stay.

    NICU Babies: We offer tailored accommodations for mothers with babies in the NICU. Our focus is to provide a restful and supportive environment for NICU mothers, including emotional support and guidance on pumping, among other resources. Should your baby end up in the NICU, you can postpone your stay for up to 3 months. If you choose not to stay, you will receive a full refund when your baby turns 3 months old.

    We require 1 night deposit to secure your spot.

    30 days Before you Check In
    We require your 50% payment of your entire package.

    14 Days Before You Check In
    We require your payment in full.

    Cancellation 60+ Days Before Check-In: Guests who cancel their reservation more than 60 days before the scheduled check-in date will receive a refund, minus a $500 cancellation fee. Their placement must now be refilled by Borne.

    Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before Check-In: Guests canceling less than 30 days before check-in will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total cost of the original and full package booking, except in cases of medical emergencies. Their placement must now be refilled by Borne.

    Same-Day Cancellation and No Show: Guests failing to show up without prior cancellation, or who cancel on the same day as their scheduled arrival, will be charged for the full duration of their reservation.

    Early Departure Post Check-In: After check-in, any decision to shorten the stay will be non-refundable, unless due to a medical emergency or other circumstances deemed exceptional by our management team.

  • At Borne, we are in the process of establishing strong partnerships and obtaining rebates from the government and private health insurers. While we work towards this, we can provide itemised receipts for any services you receive during your stay, such as lactation consultation, acupuncture, physiotherapy, or massage. These detailed receipts will allow you to directly claim these expenses through your private health insurer.
